VERA LOUISE TREVILLION A

Services were held/ will be held at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 8, 2026 at Young’s Community Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Vollmar officiating.

Interment followed Monclova Cemetery in Waterproof, LA under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Zachary Adams, Troy Buckley, Jake Buckley, David Richmond, Chester Adams and Allan Massey.

She was born Monday, January 22, 1940, in Monclova to the union of Leon and Dorothy Trevillion.

She was a woman whose life was defined by faith, work, and love. For many years, she served Waterproof Baptist Church as a Sunday School teacher and secretary, faithfully caring for people and details.

For 30 years she ran the rural mail route in Waterproof, and for many more she managed the family construction company with strength and common sense. Vera’s yard looked straight out of Southern Living—always immaculate—and she proudly ran the wheels off her Snapper mower. When she lived on the lake, she loved to fish whenever she could.

More than anything, Vera loved her family, and she showed that love by opening her home, hosting dinner parties, and gathering family and friends around her table. She leaves us a legacy of devotion, hospitality and grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Dorothy Trevillion; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Walker and William Massey.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years, Hollis Adams of Ruston, LA; daughter, Tammy Tubre (Greg) of Choudrant, LA; son, Glenn Adams (Jan) of Kennesaw, GA; granddaughter, Jennifer Tubre of Baton Rouge, LA; grandson, Joshua Tubre of Wheat Ridge, CO; grandson, Zachary Adams (Neisha) of Atlanta; GA, granddaughter, Lindy Klein (Austin) of Martin, MI; great-granddaughter, Lila Klein; three sisters, Dorothy Walker of Swartz, LA, Genell Massey of Swartz, LA, and Deborah Buckley (Troy) of Sterlington, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
