Mississippi State University has confirmed that two Tensas Parish students whose names were not included in last week’s report earned President’s List honors for the Fall 2025 semester.
Katie Marie VandeVen and James Edward Jinks, both of Newellton, achieved the university’s highest semester distinction, and the Gazette is pleased to recognize their accomplishment.
Students on the President’s List must earn a grade point average of 3.80 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing at least 12 semester hours with no incomplete grades and no grades lower than a C.
The Gazette, along with the entire Tensas community, celebrates these students and their outstanding academic achievement.
