Tensas students named to MSU fall honor lists

Mississippi State University has announced its honor students for the Fall 2025 semester, and several Tensas Parish students earned recognition for their academic achievement.

Junior Ellie Lynne Blanche of Saint Joseph was named to the President’s List, the university’s highest semester honor. Students on the President’s List must earn a grade point average of 3.80 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing at least 12 semester hours with no incomplete grades and no grades lower than a C.

Junior Mary Clark Herring of Saint Joseph, Junior Charles Irving Tucker of Saint Joseph, and Sophomore Kathleen Carlyle Paxton of Saint Joseph earned recognition on the Dean’s List for the Fall 2025 term. Dean’s List students must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79 on a 4.0 scale while completing at least 12 semester hours with no incomplete grades and no grades lower than a C.

The accomplishments of these Tensas students reflect dedication, strong study habits, and a commitment to academic excellence. Their achievements are a source of pride for their families and for the local community that continues to support them as they pursue their educational goals.
